Children are praised for being obedient to the word of God, for displaying the fruit of the Spirit, and are taught that being a “Christ-follower” and praying for our loved ones and friends should be a practical part of our everyday lives. The foundation is to love God and to love other people.
We also teach the children to be peacemakers and treat others respectfully and kindly. We also guide them to become sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s discernment about what they see and hear and to be careful with what they allow into their Spirit that could harm them. We must guard their little hearts and keep ‘junk’ programmes and talking away from them.

Headstart Pre-Primary offers a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with the Caps and ELDA requirements while incorporating the best elements from various educational programs available. Over 26 years, we have continuously enriched our curriculum to provide a unique and holistic preschool -grade R experience recognised for its excellence in preparing children for success in grade 1 and beyond.
AFTER-SCHOOL CARE
Headstart Pre-Primary has a very exciting Afternoon Club (that is like the ultimate playdate at school)
Available from:
Monday – Friday (13:00-16:30) with many fun activities for the kids to enjoy.
Our planned activities aim to support children’s holistic development and foster social interaction.
CHILDRENS THERAPY
Our onsite Take Heart Therapy centre incorporates a multi-disciplinary approach to child therapy and restores hope to concerned that all children are able to flourish with the correct and timely Early Intervention -from there the name : “Take heart”.
We host a fully complimentary and multidisciplinary team including but not limited to:
- Occupational Therapist
- Speech & Hearing Therapist and Audiologist
- Educational Psychologist / Play therapist or Christian family counselor
